Question Bargin or Con (Tranny Oil & filter)

Hey all,

1st post (maybe 2nd) - Just got a 335i e93 2008/9 84k on the clock and doing my due diligence and swapping all the fluids out. Bloody ball ache finding which fluid is OEM and which filters come with which kits etc.

Anyway, everything is on order and winging its way to me. Whilst I wait, I thought i would share this deal i found for the transmission fluid and pan on ebay - link here

Seems to good to be true, so have a missed something? Is a bolt in a box going to turn up at my door. Don`t seriously think that, the seller has a lot of feedback.

Anyway, look forward to lots of chats on this and other stuff as I inevitably get in to trouble during my DIY endeavors

Hey Rasa, yeah done my research, been lurking and reading post for a week now. Plenty of really helpful guides meaning I didn`t need to make a post. Finally thought I had something worth posting about.

Don`t know where you found a kit for £200. Cheapest i`ve found was £250 but no info on if the pan was genuine. BMW quoted me £434.85 for the oil and pan delivered.

there's a chap called Rod Sutphin

https://www.facebook.com/rod.sutphin

who does his own tune files and according to the community its much better than xHP's stage 3... He's also posted some detailed info on the transmissions as well about servicing and why you can sometimes develop issues afterwards but I believe that was related to really overdue oil changes

Quick update - it all arrived and as far as i can tell is 100% genuine - Colour of the fluids is correct (not the cheaper zf life 8 stuff) and filter/pan has all the right stamps and imprints on it. Dead chuffed - now just gotta wait for my Mechatronic sleeves and I can get this job done!
