Question regarding OEM BMW Performance Exhaust

Hi all,

I would like to install this on a N55 335i Coupe but local dealers can't supply one.

I'm planning to get one sent over from the US. Has anyone imported one? If so how was it done and also who fitted it?

I'm in the Melbourne area.

Many thanks.

Is this the exhaust you are referring to (from the Tischer site):

OEM BMW Performance E90/91/92/93 3 Series Exhaust

An engine that exhales easier is an engine that will run smoother, rev higher, accelerate faster, and deliver more horsepower - but that's not all. As the RPMs escalate, so does the exhaust note, creating a racy but never intrusive sound. Now drivers can not only feel the enhanced performance, but hear it with every shift and acceleration.

Improves exhaust flow and subsequently engine performance by reducing back presure
Manufactured using cutting edge CAD and FEA technology to ensure optimum fitting accuracy and OEM quality
Manufactured from highest-quality stainless steel ensuring durability and corrosion resistance

i imported my BMW PE from Dan@UnitedBMW he is on the forum if you want to PM him.

It costed me like $1100 shipped for my 135i BMW PE. It is very easy to fit any shop can do it. Not sure what it is like on the E9x but for my car the only "hard" part was to cut off the existing resonator and bolt on the straight pipes that came with the exhaust.

What components of the stock exhaust are replaced? Is the cut made just before the muffler?

For our E82 N54 midpipes it comes with secondary cats and resonator. The BMW PE replaces that stock resonator with straight pipes.

So basically you need to cut off the stock resonator and it comes with the clamps. then the axleback just bolt on to the midpipes like normal.
