Thanks for all the input everyone.
I've decided that I'm happy with the OEM 19 inch rims. They look good, all I'm going to do, is lower the car to the legal limit. (100mm in Vic). In terms of the tune, how does this effect fuel economy? Still interested in how i should go about respraying the front bumper of the car and if there are any potential colour matching issues with Sapphire Black. Sorry I didnn't get the pics up yesterday, I was about to take some today and it started pouring in Melbourne. Weird because it was a nice day for the most part. I'll get some pics up as soon as the weather is better and I clean the car. . I've got to say, the car is an absolute joy to drive. Very comfy and quite fast for a stock setup. It is also interesting at how smooth/linear the power delivery is, you can hardly tell the car is turbocharged, no 'sling shot' effect for when boost hits, which is what I'm used to with the GTR RB26DETTs and so on. |

As with any car fuel economy has more to do with the loud pedal than the tune. Someone on the other forum claims to get under 10 per 100, all I can say is 'hi manna how was your nap'

Thanks again guys. Can anyone recommend a good workshop in Melbourne where I could repsray the front bar?
The car gave me a 'tyre pressure loss' warning before, tyre pressure was low in one tyre. In terms of the Sat Nav, it seems like it needs to be updated. It doesn't show the details of new areas or changes in my area that have occured in recent years, what is the solution in this regard? Thanks. |

lol @ buy a new nav DVD. I feel so dumb right now. I'll get onto it.
I didn't get to wash the car properly, but today we had a spell of decent weather in Melbourne, so I took some quick photos: |

The wheels you have there are OEM Style 230. One of the best wheels for E9x's IMO. Love 'em.
Get used to washing your car frequently (especially in Mexico). SBM and rain do not mix.

Yeah lowering it is on the list. But I don't know if I want to deal with going over speed bumps every so slowly or babying the car down driveways etc. My other car is a royal pain in that regard.
I like the rims though lol, they are staying. |

Joe, Welcome. Nice pics in your other thread.
I'd be up for such a cruise, but it would be good to have some decent numbers happening. Back to the car, since i've got it I've installed: JB4. Dual Air Intake Filters. AR Design DPs. Lux V3 Angel Eyes. Parts that I have ordered, but not yet installed: Meth kit and charge pipe with Tial BOV. That will be it in terms of mods for me. Some pics of the car I took today: |
