Damn no Miami venue but doubt I would do it anyway at $500. Pretty outrageous price imo.

After two years in a row I'm out. 500$ for couple laps and drag racing? Nope... Was a fun event for $250 tho!

3 years in a row and I'm out. Kept going up each year but $500 min priced me out. Can put that to actual monthly payment of an M

So much for rumors of having more tracks this year. Was exact opposite of what anyone expected

First the Game of Thrones season 8 and then this news. 2019, you have not met expectations so far.

Agreed. So many rumors and knowing a guy, turned out to be less and more.

It was reasonable value. Now it is not. Too rich for me and I do not like big cars anyway.

Hm - the only dates that work for me are the ones in Joliet. Not the COTA or Monticello others seem to like, but still considering it for a half day. Plus get to spend the weekend in Chicago before/afterward.

Or I can put $500 toward an M School.

Garage List
2018 F80 M3  [5.00]
I have an extra registration for Sunday September 29th for the 8am Session at Monticello if anyone would like to purchase it from me for $450, booked it as a gift and now that person can't come.

I'll call BMW and have them transfer the reservation into your name upon payment.

Nothing in South East....boooooo. Although I doubt I would go back to Homestead-Miami. And that price jump....yikes. Oh well.

FYI....for those of you going to Monticello it looks like from vids I saw from last year, they are only using a smaller configuration of the 4.1 mile track. Which really blows. You need to drive the full configuration for maximum enjoyment.

Can anyone from last year who went confirm?

Yes, I can confirm they do not run the full track, still a fun config tho.

I have gone to Monticello for the past two years.

Like the other guy said, its a smaller configuration.

The reason is while you are on the road course, there are dragstrip events taking place in the pit area closest to the buildings.

Smaller or not I usually hit 120+ in whatever I drive during the lead/follow M3/M4s.

Haven't been able to go to the previous ones so I bit the bullet and registered for a half day.

I think the price is too high but I've been wanting to try this the last couple of years. You're welcome BMW...

2019 M Track Days

Personally I think it is still a great value. I've done track days with Audi and Mercedes and they charge literally double for a 4 hour session with not as many cars. $500 to drive brand new Ms at some great tracks where I DONT have to use my tires, fuel, etc. is an easy decision. Also the instructors are the exact same guys who do the M schools. They do very similar stuff here as they do at the M School, which is triple the price. I'll sign up all day everyday for this!

To add on to your statement, "the same guys who do the M schools" are mostly race car drivers in current IMSA/IMSA-like series.

Yeah I was hitting 130 on one of the back straights in the M5, Bill Auberlein was of course hitting like 135-40 lol

I may have asked this before.

Those pins you get weeks/months after attending, what do you guys do with them?

I wish they gave like a special M Track Days decal, helmet sticker, or something instead.
