Hi
I have installed the F30 Performance brake calipers (with 340mm fronts and 345mm rears) on my E91 and it seems to work very well in last couple of weeks

Now I wonder whether to do the coding of "+SPBR" (note that my car is 330i which had original brake setup same as 335i- i.e. 348mm fronts and 336mm rears)

Are there any observations on the process of coding (any catches etc...) and brakes performance after coding (pedal feel, front/rear bias etc...)?

I have been through few threads elsewhere but found an interesting view ("In short, DO NOT enable +SPBR on 135i models...") here https://www.e90post.com/forums/showt...1317220&page=3

I'm in the US and have a set of front adapters that I got from him.
I think my car is going to be a write off so I won't be needing them.

I've been around a while but lost access to my old account which was "techwhiz".

Does swapping to a E9X M3 rear knuckle/spindle/wheel carrier onto a non-M E9X allow for the 370mm rear F80 disc?

If yes, what else needs to be changed when changing knuckle? Or is it just the knuckle?

M3 master cylinder distinguishing marks?

I know I saw them, but I can't find them. Anyone got pics of an authentic M3 master cylinder and the comparative markings to the stock 328i? Finally about to get around to doing the rears and I wanted to make sure before I threw it in there.

Only reference I could find was that the first "V" inlet from the hardlines says 26 instead of 25. Any solid pics would be appreciated. I know someone measured the bore size to mark the difference, but I can't find that post/pic.

I think that's my issue. I have one sitting in my garage that's supposedly from an M3. Just trying to confirm that I was sent the right one.

But yes, if you wouldn't mind, at least we'd both would have to be wrong :P

Here's the unit I have. Pretty sure it's the right one, but will post as the verification will be good for others. There is a cheap Dorman version out there as well.

Thanks man. Appreciate all the help (esp the exchange services, lol). You would have thought this would be the perfect COVID project, but just couldn't find the time.

Fronts went on, but rears go on this weekend (if everything goes well).

Finally got the rears done as well thanks to 335d cypis and his rear kit. Was a little of a pain compared to the fronts. Got late and I was tired, so left off the M3 MC, but in all honesty it feels ok as-is. the +SPBR probably helping that out a bit.

I'll leave the M3 MC for another day and do the INPA bleed. Just did a pressure bleed to set it up for now. Two bottles of Pentosin ready for the M3 MC and INPA bleed.

Hey Bluewater, what mods did you do to install F30? rear rotors?
It's honestly all over this thread:
- Eccentric bushings from @335d_cypis or @Turbid (both on this thread).
- Since I have a 328i, I needed a hub spacer and centering ring that @335d_cypis produced for me. Allowed me to run m-performance Dimpled/slotted rears (see page 89 where I detailed which brake discs you could get). This allows me to keep/use my parking brake without modification.
-You can reuse the brake sensors that came stock.
- You have to cut the stock dust shields and bend them out of way.
- I already had stainless steel braided lines from ECS.
- I coded sports brakes (+SPBR) for the 328i.
- I do have an M3 master cylinder but haven't installed yet. With a good pressure bleed it's really not that bad without the m3 MC but again I'm not a speed demon.

Spool st reet actually did a pretty good DIY on this one. https://*********************/threads/diy-f30-m-performance-brakes-on-e90-e92-e93-guide.2941/
