Aim Halogen Headlights

I found a thread on aiming the Xenons but not Halogens.

For Halogens, I think I found the screws for the adjustment. Can anyone confirm it is the white round plastic piece in the picture? Does clockwise adjust up or down? Thanks for the help.

According to the Xenons thread, clockwise is down.
Of course I'm not sure about Halos, but I dont see why it would be different.
Maybe some1 can confirm...

I just tried it out on mine, ccw is higher, cw is lower.

I just did three turns ccw, it's quite a bit higher now. Will have to test drive it to see whether it is too high. Would be good if other people could post how many turns they adjusted their halogens.

EDIT:
Yep.. three turns ccw seems to have made it much better, and nobody was flashing at me on a test drive. So I can recommend that setting.

I turned mine just now like 20 times before the stupid thing even starts to move up >.<

but, it's much better now.... before it was practically aiming completely down & one of the things that I always wanted to change

I can't adjust my driver's side headlight angle by turning the white screw but my passenger's side can be adjusted with no problems. I tried turning the screw all the way c.w. or c.c.w. until I meet resistance and there is no change to the height of the driver's side light. Is there a way to fix this or am I screwed?

resurrecting this thread... in the picture that is one of the adjustments. there is a plug in the fender drain line that if removed reveals the outside adjutment for the headlight, does anyone know why you would adjust one or the other?

That one in the fender is for left or right alignment.. Both alignment screws handle High/ low beams.
