I'm in Fair Oaks and installed my JB4. I'd be open to helping you. Its not that difficult especially with someone there to help.

The most difficult part on the jb4 for me was getting that damn power wire out of the green box. I couldnt believe how much trouble that little ba*yard gave me! Plumbing the USB through the dash was a small challenge as well but once you do it you're golden. Nice to know how things are sorted in the car too.

Does anyone locally do coding that they would be willing to help out with? Or a shop locally where I can get coding done?

Also, anyone want to help with installs of Lux AEs?

Lux are a bitch. Get you a small mirror so you can see the alignment of the fitment. It should look like a three way key way, and it only goes in 1 way. The hard part is not only trying to fit it in, but to tighten it.

Send me your email I can give you my photos of the install. Oh wait you can't PM me, just email me

Pain to install, sure. But are they worth that pain? Or is there a better option out there?

I think so. I have had mine for almost 2 years and no issues. I like the idea of it being self contained, meaning there is no additional light ballast, wires etc.

There are brighter ones out there, but you have to deal with the light ballast and extra wires and such. Lux is very clean.

I live near that area, a bunch of us just came from "The Gun Range" Other than that not much going on until the meet on the 6th. All that matters this weekend is the UFC fight tonight and Super Bowl tomorrow.. Lemme rephrase that.. All that matters is the Super Bowl...

Need help installing m3 tri-stitch steering wheel. I try the DIY manual, but I can't figure out how to pop the spring that holds the airbag. I'll throw in a six pack for your trouble.

it's very easy. use a long flat head, i'll say use your finger at the back of the steering wheel around 4 and 8 o'clock position. you should feel there's a slit has a softer feel. poke the screw driver in and push it in at around 45 degree angle. you should be able to pop the airbag out.
