Enjoy it man. I got my 325i fully loaded when I was 15 as a present for maintaining a 4.5 gpa for three years in a row.

Even though its no 335, it still is a very fast first car, compared to 90% of the other cars kids get at our age. Be safe with it, and enjoy it most of all. Tomorow is my 17th birthday, as a matter in fact.

MteK said it!

Seems to me the sole responsibility of all 16 year olds is to CRASH their first car! Chime in here and correct me if I'm wrong! You'll be cruising around minding your own business when out of no where - BAM! ...Uh mom?...

Congrats, we're all hoping you prove us wrong!

Haha rich people don't see any recession, Ferrari had a $50 million profit this past year.

Good luck with the car, #1 thing is to not get too distracted with the radio/options/etc. My sister scares me with that crap in her mazda, I can only imagine someone like her in a car with so much electronics like ours haha.

Accidents are neither inevitable nor are they a rite of passage. And cars do not magically "come out of nowhere".

BMW328 -- talk to your Mother. Show her this , this and this

Tell her that you met a 50 year old man on the Internet. That will get her attention . Then tell her that his kids attended one of these (Mid-Ohio), and now at ages 22 and 19 there have been -0- accidents. Tell her that it was worth every penny since he didn't raise his kids to be organ donors, the creation of which seems to be the purpose of most driver's ed in the United States.

It is not about driving like a Buick owner. It is about knowing what is going on around you and understanding basic car control.

Congrats young grasshopper. I'm sure the parents are at peace knowing that their son is in a safe car.

I wish I was fortunate enough to have a decent car as my first. What my parents did for me with my first car is matched whatever I saved. Taught me a thing or two about saving money.
