Lemforder, Meyle, vs Genuine BMW

I’m beginning my search for a suspension refresh since most of my eccentric bolts and other hardware is seized. Shop tried heat etc but nothing wanted to move.

I may as well replace some suspension bits before I toss some coil overs on and can’t get a decent alignment after.

My question is, Are Lemforder and Merle good parts? Or do I cry while paying for genuine BMW parts?

And before all the suggestions about FCP etc come through, I live in Canada. Shipping costs and import fees make buying from these places almost as expensive as my dealership

Lemforder is good stuff. Most of the OE parts are made by them. Replaced all the suspension parts on my E90 with Lemforder from FCP. Yes, I am in Canada as well.

Lamforder is OE supplier to BMW. Another good one is TRW.

TRW stuff is all M3 from what I can see. I’m thinking about doing the M3 arms out back, but not sure if my wagon truly needs it lol

I ended up buying a kit from Turner. Quote from the dealer was $309 for just the eccentric bolts, nuts and washers. Got every bolt from Turner for a few pennies shy of $180. Still needs to pay $55 for duty and taxes, but that’s still a helluva lot cheaper.

Still have a few more parts to gather up, arms, mounts and bushings. Who has some feedback about solid sub frame bushings for the rear?
