Have you installed the set you have? If not, can you post any pics of what they look like? I'm DYING to get my hands on a set of these!

The pics posted earlier show a set of these lights installed.
They are bright and have a much wider spread of light than the stock bulbs.

Has anyone tried these 194 5 LED CANBUS as map light replacements? I've tried 5 LED (non CANBUS) and they turn off after a few seconds with the ignition on and 1 LED CANBUS - works fine but would like brighter. Thanks

That can't honestly be the pic of them installed, is it?!?! I thought they'd be MUCH MUCH brighter! Are those the stock bulbs in the pic?

Edit: I posted that when he only had the first pic posted without any label. They ARE bright! Mine should be delivered tomorrow! Thanks for the great pics.!

If he wanted to blow out the pictures by upping the exposure, he could have done that. However, he chose not to do that. Instead, he took great comparison shots at various exposures, because true "brightness" is so subjective.

It's been shown through pictures that the light spread from the LED's is better than the halogen, and it is "brighter". If you want something silly bright, retrofit a HID kit to the reversers (and yes...it has been done.)

it was easy... just had to guess how the wires connected. I was 0-2 (had to take out and switch them). I also took my time to install and take pictures at the same time.

First real use of my remote control for my camera. (1 person install and photo shoot)

install guide

These are super easy, will take you all but 5 - 10 minutes. There's really no need for a guide but in case you have apprehensions here's the really drilled down version...
No bulb alerts on dash, nice plug and play set up!

Remove the panel by pulling on the outer edge.

Use Torx T-20 driver remove the screws. use caution, do not drop them.

Old light will come out. remove the electrical connectors.

connect the new male blades into the female factory terminal connectors.
I seated my blades in with a jewelers flat head screw driver by pushing on the blade into the connector.
RED to Gray
Black to White

if you mess them up dont worry, you can swap them, no harm to your car.

When you install the LEDs the angled side goes toward the middle of the car.
i zip tied everything to make sure there would be limited movement and no rattles.

Stock on passenger side, LUX on Drivers side. No bulb alerts on dash.

Both are in.

Reverse lamps are lighting from my garage, down my 4 car driveway, and across my two lane street. a minimum of 100 feet away. HUGE improvement.
they are actually lighting up the front of the neighbors house lol
