N55 exhaust cam rockers in N52
Has anyone tried this yet? I'm looking into options for making some more power when I put my engine together and I found some speculation on whether this will increase valve lift but I couldn't find anything concrete.
Anyone know for sure if the N55 exhaust rockers will swap into an N52? Also how about a 3.2 liter stroker with an N55 crank ?? JK lets take one step at a time here... |

The theory was yes it will; and it would be similarly close to the MILVS on the intake. I remember reading a thread where the math worked out
No one has tried it yet though as you gotta pull the cam out and all the stuff to go with it (plus the timing blocks). If you are rebuilding I 100% would put a set in. |

I sent some N55 rollers off to hassmaschine for him to compare with n52 rollers on a head he had that was disassembled. He was going to take some measurements but seems to have gone MIA and hasn’t responded to my PM’s for several months now.
So if anyone was waiting on the result of that I would say move forward in your own. I would really like to know if this is worth pursuing.

Sorry man, I have just not had a lot of free time. I've been away every nearly weekend since the end of June. I still intend on taking measurements as soon as I am able - I think there is potential there.

Awesome, can’t wait to see if this is worthwhile! I’m still trying to figure out how to get some s54 headers under my hood too lol

My buddies made the flanges. I'm sure they could get another set cut for you. I'd like to know what they used for the tubes that pressed into the flanges.. and pick up a set of S54 headers before they're impossible to find.

You all know me, but you don't know me...let's leave it at that. But I have a set of MILVS I've been meaning to install, curious to see how putting the exhaust cam in the better flowing N52 head works out.

Exhaust cam? You don't want the turbo exhaust cams. less lift and duration, the profile is designed to spool a turbo, not for exhaust gas scavenging. If the bigger rocker ratio works, that's the way to go IMO.
