Thought about putting the 6266 on for about 5 seconds. 7675 Straight back on.

Ive got to sort out a few things broke before I can drive it.
Water T snapped off the water pump and the throttle body sensor is pulled apart.

Ill put the engine back in during the week.

If anyone wants the 6266 turbo kit let me know. I can give you a plug n play kit.

Turbo, manifold, all wastegate pipes, vacuum lines, heat protection sheathing, 3 port mac solenoid, oil lines ect. You can go from stock turbo to this setup driving around over a wknd.

I will make a single scroll manifold for the 7675.

Make an offer by private msg.

Put the engine back this arvo.

Need to plug all the sensors in and all the rest.
Around a day of work to go.
Good to see how it goes running on 6 cylinders.

Only a few wires to plug in when the front bars back on.

I need to get a new water line to go any further.
The flange on the thermostat wont work with a hose and clamp.

I will put it back together and sort the pipe out when it arrives.

Broken hose flange in bottom photo where my finger is.

Can't you get a fitting from a wrecker somewhere Brule. Also, Duck might have a spare one sitting around his workshop.

I called around 15 wreckers when I was looking for an auto and manual transmission. They were all more expensive then buying from the usa.

I ordered it this morning.

Fcp euro $127 delivered.

Im excited but working around the house is taking my time.
I wanted to work on it today but I needed a torx bit that I dont have. Went to bunnings and the line was around 50 people long. I wasnt waiting in a line for carona so I left.
I built a shed 2 weeks ago and have been concreting, landscaping and trying to grow grass. Im starting to build a shed for working on cars and fabricating. Ill aim to pour it next week.
Then there will be plenty of n54 parts made. For now I have to put the time in clearing the back yard, make a pad, form it, pour it then build it.

Did a bit in the car this afternoon.

Front end back on.
Trans oil coolers hooked up.
Intercooler and 3inch pipes back on (need 2/ 3 inch clamps)
Power Steering done
Radiator nearly done. I need the heater pipe, ordered it a few days ago.

It looks like a car again.

To do list:
Install transmission shifter cable
Attach vband from wastegate to dump pipe
Attach dump pipe to exhaust
re wire a couple of things with removable fittings.

Then a few fluids and its right to go again

I think there's a limit to the amount of photo storage in the site. That could be the issue ? Great to see progress mate

It is good to see you almost have your car back together again Brule. It will be interesting to see how it goes on the road with leaks, etc fixed. With the restrictions starting to be lifted in the next couple of weeks, is there any likelihood of the drag racing meetings starting up again in Darwin in the near future?

It will spool quicker and run out of fuel on less boost.

Not many restrictions here anyway.
Just no pubs or cafes open. All the shops are open and 6000 people at bunnings everyday.

Our drags should open before any other state.

I will have to order a dragy to see how quick it is.
