She liked that cooler weather at 8:54. What was the temp, 50-55*?

I forget, stock intercooler? Still running the 800ml of meth?

Stiffer bushings, upgraded suspension bits and differential lockdown kit can greatly help with reducing wheel hop.

You have to be careful with drag radials. Even if you were to replace everything, don't be surprised if you still experience wheel hop. Drag radials are nortorious for hop and damaging IRS cars. You can minimize it but, you need to be on your game each and every launch. Immediately lift at the first sign on hop!

If you are serious about running into the 11's, I highly recommend a high dollar Mickey Thompson drag radial or an all out slick. A few guys run the Hoosier DOT radial, which is actually not an authorized street tire but a tire that's designed for a dot racing class. You'll get away with harder launches with far less hop with a dedicated track tire like that.

I love my Mickey's, I haven't had any hop but, you need to roll the fenders and will likely need to lower the rear gear to keep everything equal. I forget exactly but, with the larger tire my gear drops to a 2.67 or something compared to the stock 2.81. Which, I believe is hurting my MPH through the traps. Food for though.

This was my first time with pss tyres on around 4mm and no diff lockdown kit. Best was 12.9 @ 112mph, i'm certain the car has more in it, i.e im sure i can improve technique. I was launching on 2nd gear manual mode.

Missed going out this summer but will defo go in the spring. The diff lockdown should help

What were your ambient temps? The PSS in theory should launch a bit better than my Pilot A/S3's. I aired mine down to 28psi and was able to get a good amount of 1.8-1.9s in the 60'. 2nd gear, 2500rpm launch. I noticed if meth came in too soon that spun the tires.

Nice!

The tracks around here have a couple pre-season openings next month before the main season begins in May.

I also see they are requiring newer Snell approved helmets than last year. They make the drivers have at least a 2010 Snell approved helmet now...

32valves..Nice times to start the year off, closest track to me doesn't open till may, but how do you like the nt555r tires for the strip, trying to pick a tire for a spare set of wheels for the rear, car had brand new tires when I bought it so all my runs last season were on stock 225 runflats, best time was 12.59 @ 111mph, any suggestions on tires?

I would get the new style nitto nt01, mine are the early style, but if you wanna spend a little more m/t drag radials are hands down the best.
