I haven't really focused on this element but I have thought when driving "normally" that it did feel a little smoother....but bear in mind make the drive softer and smoother is not my the prime reason for this remap

Have you got the 2nd generation sprint booster? I was gonna pick up a gen one but as I'm getting messed about I might just get a new gen 2.

If you could rate improvements felt after adding both, what percentage would the sprint booster alone account for? This is a cost/benefit question such as JBD vs. Remap cost/benefit. Does this make sense?

Sprint booster is very noticeable and I thought had made the car so much it was as good as it got. The gearbox remap had taken it to another level I didn't think possible

+1. Had in green mode when I first bought it because I was too afraid of red mode but I should of left it on red the entire time!

Just wish it wasn't so damn expensive so more people can get on it.

Ok I'm gonna see if I can get a deal on a sprint booster, cheapest i can find is £160 but thats german ebay and I don't want the wrong one for the sake of saving £15.

With regards the box remap I'd like one and it sounds awesome but I struggle at that price. It's certainly not happening yet.
I'm quite happy buying £150-200 mods and letting them pile up but £420 is pretty steep for what is essentially a bit of software, or am I missing something? Maybe it's because I'm not used to these more modern cars with all the electronics, I could probably get a gearbox for £400ish for my trackcar.

I wonder if it's the sort of thing that will come down in price as more companies offer it, I'll get my m3 wheel on and a sprint booster first.

Hi all,

I have had an email conversation with the Technical Director at JF Automotive today and they are looking into putting together a group buy for you all. They have already contacted the Moderators (today) about being able to do this.

More good news is they have something call an "Alive Throttle" which they tell me is basically a "Sprint Booster" type product. So you may be able to get a package deal on both if you are really lucky.

Shame I was the Guinea Pig who paid full price for this but if it makes this more affordable for you others, good luck and enjoy.....I know I am

Noooooooooo I went to see the bank about a mortgage last week!

Ok, I'll hold off on the sprint booster, I found a local place selling them so was going to enquire about a group buy but I guess if JFA throttle works in conjunction with the gearbox remap then that's probably a better package to get if funds allow.

JF also does ECU tuning as well, so I am considering a package for both. (I wanted JR's with MPF but not sure this will ever happen) Has anyone out there used JF's re MAP?

I contacted them, and the conclusion is that the jump from 2nd to 3rd that I'm getting wouldn't be fixed with the remap, and could probably be a transmission issue.

I'll visit ZF to see if they spot something weird, but I was under the impression that I'm not the only one on these boards with this particular issue (?).

Noticing how much better it is left in D too this week. Gear changes are smooth yet solid and quick. Even when driving gently

Anyone else pushed the button on this yet? The more I drive it the more I like it. Even under mild acceleration it feels much better
