Weird sound coming from the back of the car -- 2005 320i

Hello,

A random sound appeared a year ago, at first I thought it was my engine chains (not sure if that's the correct term for it), but it seems that it is coming from the back of the car and a guy at the repair shop told me that it has something to do with my exhaust pipe.

The sound I am talking about appears whenever I start the car after the night. It becomes louder if I stay in the mid-gear for a little longer or rev at around 1k RPM, but disappears whenever I start driving and exceed 1,5-2k RPM.

I am not sure if you are going to be able to hear it properly, but I captured a video of this sound just this morning:

Has anyone ever encountered a sound like that?

Your exhaust is rattling and needs to be secured. Take the car to an exhaust shop.

Is that something I should be worried about? Can it get damaged over time or damage something else? Because it seems that the sound is coming from the inside of exhaust's rear back box.

Just take it to an exhaust shop and tell them your exhaust is rattling.

I was going to guess the duct tape slipped off the victim's mouth, but yeah, it sounds exhaust related.
