Transmission from maual to automatic

Hello guys
I convert the car from manual to automatic
After installing all needed parts, added auto transmission to VO then defualt coding to dash, cas, frm, jbb,
Drive car and all ok no any problem.
Now when i scan the car by dis or ista D or any diagnostic tool, its detect the car as manual not automatic, how to make it as automatic??

Thank you in advanced

Does EGS show in your modules in your UIF? Did you use INPA and go to the engine section, live data, digital values, car configuration, and check automatic? You also need to clear learned variants.

Need to code the DDE/DME too.

And as stated, clear the learned values.

I can dignostic egs and see live data and every thing ok.
About DME. i replaced it with one from car with automatic transmission and i clear the learned values.
About VIN. i think there is a letters inside 17 digit for AT,
and another letters for MT if i change it in cas maybe tools detect car as AT. Any one know where it is?

Why not just use BMW Standards Tools?

Nothing. I just wondered why you chose to use ISTA. As Levanime said this is normal behaviour.

ISTA D will assume your options from the cars VIN. Not the FA. I don't know why. It just does. There is probably a way to update a database somewhere but I don't see any point. Everything is fine
