The poweder coated black unit we're waiting on does use the factory c-clip, the polished version does not.

There's at least a couple hundred ETS units out there that don't use the factory c-clip that are doing just fine

It's also nice to have an option for those that don't have their factory c-clip. When my charge pipe blew off I thought we lost are c-clip and the only way of getting another is buying the whole oem charge pipe for a couple hundred bucks, they won't sell it separate. Thank god we wound up finding it though.

I've had requests for both so we decided on both to be honest. I'm going to try one batch of each and we'll eventually end up sticking with the more popular option.

I'm running 25psi on the non c-clip just fine. Along with many others. Hasn't been an issue on my other car of the same style running 27+psi

We have the non-c clip version in stock in polished finish with a Tial or HKS flange and a meth bung

The black c-clip version should be ready by the 22nd. They've finished production as well as powdercoating, we're just waiting for them to arrive.

Not yet, they've arrived but we're waiting for our custom o-rings to arrive. Keep in mind these will only be offered with HKS or Tial flanges for now, we don't have immediate plans for OEM DV's.
