Valvetronic Motor HELP!!!

Today I was changing my Valvetronic motor after it went out. From what I understand, the wormscrew is not supposed to be turned “too far” clockwise when removing. I’m worried I may have turned it too far as I heard a click.

What damage could this have caused if any, and what should my steps going forward be?
