As i said in my original thread, bmws 3s and 5s are very sensitive to even small amounts of play in the front suspension which shows as brake wobble. If you have any doubt then change it. Ive made the mistake of putting cheap replacements on only to find them knackered in 15k miles. Ive had far too much cheap rubbish off ebay now, some of it supposedly branded items but clearly not, get something over the counter.

Thanks Davie, yes I've spoke to countless people with 3 & 5s with the same issue. Yeah I'm not a fan of buying parts off ebay. Will buy from a trusted source.

I'm still running totally original suspension all around as I only have 36k miles on the clock!

At this rate my car should just about be run in by the time the government ban the sale of petrol!

I only replaced the brake discs because they were corroded not because they were worn out!

Perhaps I'll tax it Wednesday; it could do with going out for a run.

Haha so you've not had to go down that route yet, well I hope you dont because its bloody annoying trying to get to the bottom of issues like these!
