I believe it is the same.
The VRSF one- looks the same and it has a sticky backing which is from the Area 74 sticker removed- just my thoughts.

They work. Mine is always in the car. Never a CEL. Always passes state emissions checks.

Which side did you install yours?

I installed mine on the 02 sensor side wire not on the wires going to the engine( colored wires).

Also mine is solid blue light then it will blink then back to solid..

I was wonde if I installed it right..

I only had 10 miles so far.. 🙏🙏

I don’t remember which side of the connector. I think mine stays solid but flickers every few seconds or so.

do you know if the DP fix just suppresses the CEL light or it actually alters the signal going into the DME?

They are not the same, the a74 comes with a electric anti static bag. And is slightly smaller. The posi tap is the VRSF dp fix.

It sends a mimicked milivolt signal to the DME. Similar to the mV signal that would be coming from a downstream O2 sensor.

Which version of the fix are you using currently? It should work on any stage as long as you have the OEM DP box checked. This allows you to attempt readiness for the cat and o2 monitors. I just rewired a plug and play harness with the a74 version of the fix and will be updating with my results in a couple days.

Shouldn't have to remove MHD, I've heard some have to flash back to stage 0 depending which state you're trying to pass in but never heard of removing MHD all together. I had the same problem with the VRSF fix but haven't tried it on the a74 yet. I'll let you know my results in a few days.
