My new car/proper hello

So having now made a few posts, I am able to post my own thread to introduce myself and the new object of my desire which I have recently purchased

I have lusted after a 335i for a while and decided to take the plunge after finding one which I instantly feel in love with the look of and then was sold as soon as I got behind the wheel for a drive.

This is now my third BMW, my previous was an Individual E46 330ci vert in Velvet Blue.

I took a few photos before driving off after purchase and unfortunately my camera battery hadn't charged as I thought and died, so the rest of the pics are iphone I'm afraid- have had no further opportunity to take any due a hearty combination of work and awful weather!

I must say this forum has been extremely helpful so far (I was having a good old lurk before signing up), a wealth of knowledge all in one place

Here she is....

Yes I need those wheels, and the bathroom LOL.

Very nice choice indeed.

Could you please advise on the wheels please. They have a nice stance.

Thanks for the kind comments, it was quite a long journey I had to take to find a suitable car with a manual box, but that plus the wheels on this one sold it for me, really finish the car off nicely I think

Mwp4me, they are 19" staggered CSL's.

It was indeed Maundrell & Co, I had grand designs for a good few photos in front of that stag before realising my battery hadn't charged on the camera!

I think it's 235 at the front and 265 at the back off the top of my head... can't remember the profile without going and checking, which I will do for you at some point in due course when it's slightly less dark and white outside!

From what I've seen, I must one of the only people out there who isn't a fan of black grills, much prefer the original chrome framed ones.

Thanks, had a similar grey interior in the old car as well, brightens up the cabin nicely.

No mats in this one though, undicided whether to get grey which will be a nightmare to keep clean again or black and let it match the other contrasting darker bits.

Glad I'm not totally alone on the black kidneys

Thanks again for the kind comments

I am itching to get out and have another proper drive, this would be the disadvantage of buying a car in the middle of winter.

Only slight annoyance I have with the car is the Sat Nav DVD/cd player- why on earth, in any form, did BMW think it would be a good idea for these to double up as the same thing? Utterly stupid idea!

Lovely car mate.

Yes buying a car now is unlucky! We can't really push it too much. But im sure you'll be amazed even more once its dry.
