e90 Lci halogen to xenon coding

I got a set of non adaptive lci xenons to retrofit on my stock lci halogens. I rewired them for the bi xenon shutters to work and the angel eyes as well, however i ran into a problem. I believe i need to code them to work because the xenons turn on fine when the car is off, however they flicker when the car is turned on. Can someone lead me in the right direction? I have basic NCS expert software and the cable.

If they are set to turn on when you unlock car (welcome lights) then you need to code them to turn on instantly instead of gradually.

Keep the angel eyes on gradual turn on - it will look good

Lemme know if you need any help

Have the headlights turn on instantly? When I unlock the car only the angel eyes turn on. And I only have the problem when the car is on. I was going to code them using ncs expert however I realized that my cable doesn't work on my car so I'm waiting for my new cable to come in. So I currently am only able to code using Carly for BMW

Oh ok I thought you meant flicker when you unlock (welcome lights) - as I was thinking it might have been on a gradual turn on which would've caused the xenons to flicker. You can code your xenons to turn on upon unlock btw which I think will look really cool as this is what I have when I unlock - I only have a HID conversion kit whereas you have the real thing

This is what you want it to look like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UX-Ln3RqKMI

You need to code in the OEM xenon retrofit you have done with automatic levelling/adjustment etc etc:

Quote:
This is for those installing OEM xenons without the self leveling feature. Add $522 to VO (telling the car your adding xenon headlights). Disable self leveling for xenon headlights by saying nicht_aktiv to line

AUTO_LWR_ENABLE (in FRM). To enable inner halogen light as high beam (in FRM):

PWM_ANST_FL_BIXENON

How do you know it is a problem with the cable? Where did you order from? http://www.cable-shack.co.uk/ is a good source if you're in UK

Have you seen the BMW EBA guide on this? It says that you have to change the FRM module and the light switch.

I know there are several DIY's out there, but could you share which guide you followed? I have an 09 with halogen and want to go to xenon. Guessing non adaptive is my best OEM option.
