I bought the hood on ebay and have never heard that it may need hood pins until now, from doing a little research on google it seems to be recommended if you plan to track the car but not essential. I have had the hood on for over a year now without any problems.

I have been toying around with the idea, of switching to these roundels. Do you guys think these would work on my car, or should I just stick with the oem style?

No spacers, the wheels are 5'' wider in the back.

I'm not trying to fool anyone that it's an M3 I didn't put any badges on it or the m3 fenders, like some clowns do. I just like the style of those parts.
