Looking for feedback on DNA setup. Tried looking thru forums. Not much there... Thanks |

I've been working on headlights for a while and in my opinion and through reading some reviews on amazon, it looks like you're going to have some issues when it comes to the projector and the angel eyes look dim. Is there any reason you want to change out your LCI halogens? These dna headlights look ricey in my opinion.
When I had my 328, I ended up retrofitting projectors and angel eyes and was able to achieve a cleaner look. |

By the time I would upgrade all the bulb to LED and considering the age. I figured new headlights would be the way to go. But the review's and the warranty are not great. Where did you buy the projectors and angel eye's?

I think you can probably source everything from ebay for a lot less. I think fx-r projectors can be purchased for less than 100 for a set there. Dtm angel lights here: https://www.bavgruppedesign.com/prod...-335i-m3-3dacb Pretty cool that he's using my headlights as the product picture An alternative to Bavgruppe angel eyes are ebay dtm leds which run 60-100 bucks and the main difference is the thickness of the acrylic diffuser. If you can afford to have your car taken apart for 3-5 days (so you can take your time), it's an involved, yet doable project. Feel free to DM me if you want any tips/guidance through the process. |
