Looked way better than mine did. Buy the kit and save tons of cash next time. Even buying a new air compressor would've seen you still come out way ahead of $700. Glad it helped!

Too lazy to do it myself and don’t have the time.

Just did mine at 91k. From the looks of it doesn't seem like it was done before! Dramatically different throttle response. $150 bucks for material, tools and little bit of elbow grease.

I’m gathering the equipment to DIY it next weekend. I figured with what I would pay someone to do it I could buy the stuff myself and I’d end up with an air compressor for my trouble...

i just did mine for the 2nd time this past weekend. 98k miles currently. 62k miles when i did it the first time. been fbo since my last cleaning and I'm amazed at how good it turned out and the response that came back.

When putting the intake manifold back on, I snapped one of the studs, the one in the middle of the intake. The dealer didn't have any in stock, am I ok to run it without that stud/nut? All the others were torqued down correctly. I tested it and drove to work today without any issue. Just trying to decide if I need to tear everything apart again.
