ceramic tint is always in the $300 range from what i have seen.

I'm debating getting my windows tinted.

I like the way SG looks with 35%, wouldn't go any darker then that.
However, I'm debating between 35% all around (except windshield), or going a bit lighter... maybe 45% but including the windshield.

Also; as long as I stear clear of the metallic tint, I shouldn't have any problems with a V1 or Escort detector, correct?

Tracer did you clear the front corners by yourself? Do they sell kits for this yet?

Tracer...your car looks amazing. I'm not real familiar with tint. Is that ceramic or metallic? I would love to see more pictures of coupes with tint. I ordered a black saphire metallic and am still debating.

My last car was silver and had limo tint on the rear and back and 35% on the front. I really liked that look but on a black car, I'm not sure how good limo will look.

Any thougts? Is that too much black?

I was never bothered by the cops with my last car so I'm not factoring that in.

hmm what do you guys think i should get on my windsheild? i recently had 20% windsheild-15%around...

I removed the windsheild because it was crappy quality and was blurry...I want something to stop the heat, and give a little privacy but not something so obviously illegal i get stopped everywhere, i think 35% sounds good, what do you guys think i should do? how much did everyone pay for good quality windsheild tint?

If I had a black car and was gonna tint it, I'd go with one tint colour all the way around. Most likely 20%, but that's just me.

It looks good because there is some contrast

If I went darker, it would look like a small limo driving by, and I didn't want that look

I had 15% all around, but it's hard to drive at night on high ways here...

Has anyone here gone to Automall Tint Specialists in Fremont ? How do you rate the job ?

I've used California Auto Tint several times before and they do excellent work, but I'm not sure I want to have my rear glass removed on the Cabrio.
