Idk I like old school gauges, but I also like these digital screens for all the cool performance details you can see
Agree. A digital cluster is fine with me if there's customization with it, which the MBUX system has more displays than you could ever need. When a digital cluster doesn't provide much customization or simply just mimics a typical analog cluster, I don't really see any benefit.

I had my MB in for service last week and they had one of these in the showroom. Not a bad looking rig and great interior but I have to be honest the long glass screen that is about as wide and flat as the entire dash struck me as kind of odd looking. I'm not sure I hate it but I don't think I loved it either. I guess you'd get used to it, but it is certainly a departure from a typical gauge cluster.

From various reviews, many of the journalists (AlexOnAutos, Motormouth, etc.) have said that while the GLE interior looks modern and impressive, the build quality and materials used are better in an X5/6.

The GLE has some really good materials in many places but certain areas such as the bottom door trim feels cheap for an SUV in this price range.

Regardless, I still find myself wanting a GLE 450 as the family vehicle. But as mentioned above, aggressive discounts and incentives are not common.

If money was no object, I'd check the box for E-Active Body Control (bounce feature) just for fun

Right, like the damn screen searches for close race tracks, tell me that isn't cool!
