Ball joint thread and size

I’m working on replacing the tension strut on a 2011 328xi and I damaged the thread a little on the ball joint. Now I can’t get the nut to thread back on. I want to replace it but getting the nut back on would probably make it easier so I want to get a tap and die set to chase it. Does anyone know the bolt thread size to the stock ball joint?
