BMW e90 330i 06 Coolant smell in cabin air vent
Hi everyone,
I'm hoping someone is able to provide some guidance on a problem I'm having. Unless I'm just being paranoid here. I have a bmw 330i 2006. Recently I have started to smell coolant in my car (occasionally- doesn't happen everyday) . It's winter here and the outside temp are ~35-40 F. This only happens when I start up my car and turn on the heater. The smell stays for a couple of seconds 10-15 sec and then it goes away as the car starts to warm up. Can't visibly see any leaks. Coolant levels hasn't dropped either (keeping a close eye on the level now). Could it be a bad water pump or something. Just trying to catch the problem before it becomes worse. Anyone else ever have this problem ? |
