Sway Bar

This is my first post…about two weeks ago I bought an e90 2011 BMW 335i xdrive and am doing some suspension work…I made the mistake of buying a front sway bar from carid.com by Megan Racing and said it’s guaranteed to fit my car…well when I get it and open the box it looks nothing like the one that’s on the car the ends are pretty much straight and the ones on the car are severely curved…the instructions say it’s for an F3x but when contacting them they said that it says it’s for 2011+ 3 series…so I’m slightly confused because I thought the F series started in 2012…other than that I can’t find any information or any other sway bars that would fit…will this fit? Is it an error? Thanks in advance.

Lol carid is so stupid, they don't have a clue what it's for. I've seen mismatches in info like this before as there were some f30s made in late 2011. F3x sway bar will not fit. Check out places like Turner or ECStuning for aftermarket stuff for your chassis

So I’ve looked on ecstuning trying to find one and I can only find rear on there…I can’t even figure out which sway bar bushings to get because every one I look at says cars made before 4/10 or something…on ecs tuning if I look up the ones for my car and it has the oem part replacement number…ecs tuning is the only place I can find that replacement number.

It looks like there may not be any aftermarket sway bars for the xDrive front. Is yours damaged and you just need a replacement or you're wanting to upgrade?

UUC motorwerks is your only source for upgraded front sway bar on an xdrive e90 or e92. their customer service is terrible though, I got mine from them but they also sent me the incorrect one initially. luckily i had them within an hour drive distance. I decided to make the drive after they would not answer either emails or phone calls for weeks.

I was just going to change it while I was changing to coilovers but mine is fine so I’ll probably just leave it alone but now I have another problem haha…I was doing the coilovers today and got all but the back passenger done before it got dark so I have to finish tomorrow…I tried to open my trunk and it wouldn’t open so I assumed the battery died…got a jump and it started but I didn’t think about the rear passenger suspension being taken apart so it acted like it wanted to cut off and the dsc and 4x4 light came on and said drive slowly to the nearest bmw…I cut it off immediately…PLEASE tell me that was just because the suspension is apart and the wheel is off and that I didn’t mess anything up
