Do they not have two tabs to release the little box/cover? One tab on each side. You need to pry with a flathead and wiggle.

I just did this today. There are tabs on the top and bottom of the cover that have to be pryed with a screwdriver to get them open. They are not sealed from the factory they are designed so you can change the bulb because bulbs burn out. You will need a long flat thin screwdriver to get to the tabs.

Changing to Mtec bulbs made my angel eyes turn very bright and white.

1. go to the trunk of u car.
2. open the toolset lid on the right hand side
3. take flathead screwdriver
4. pop the lid
5. see http://www.reveuro.com/inventory/102...-m3-bmw.46.JPG on the outer corners of the lid there are indentations, put ur screwdriver there, pry a bit until u see it coming out, do the same on the other side, VOILA done.

His headlights will not be like that since it is an E90 Sedan. If you have OE xenons, then you go through the wheel well on E90 pre-LCI sedans to get access to the angel eye bulbs.

I'm in the process of doing to my pre-LCI E90 but, for the life of me, I cannot open the plastic cover to access the angel eye bulbs...

You guys got any tips? I'm afraid I might break the tabs if I pry them too much.
