I know that the bmwusa web site has technical info for the current models, but I am having difficulty in finding the gear ratios (transmission and diff) for the above models.

Can anybody point me to a resouce for the same?

I am let to believe that the gear box (not just the ratios) are different between the 325 and 330. Does can anybody quantify that for me?

OK, I confirmed two interesting things. The gearbox (GS6-37BZ) is the same as used previously on the E46 and is currently on the E60 and E85.

The diff ratio varies. The 330 has the 3.15 and the 325 has a 3.23 diff ratio.

The 328 has the following gear ratios with a 3:23 diff ratio:
Transmission:
Manual gear ratios – I/II 4.32/2.46
Manual gear ratios – III/IV 1.66/1.23
Manual gear ratios – V/VI 1:00/0.85

Does anyone have knowledge of how the transmission ratios vary between the 06 325i and the 06 330i?
