Having trouble deciphering what you are trying to say. Are you saying your tank is leaking faster than you can fill it up?

In any event, the rate of leak is irrelevant. When you reinstalled the fuel pump cover, you likely didn't angle it properly to get it to seal it right after the fuel pump install. Make sure you have a good seal. It is hard to tell if you are new at it. So take it off again and make sure it goes on smoothly. If you are struggling, its not engaging properly. That's the only thing that could result in a large leak after a fuel pump replacement. Check under the seat where the fuel pump is, you'll see there is a pool of gas there.
