Pivot seized up!?
Need to remove wiper arm, then circlip and free the spindle up. Clean, grease and refit.

Had to do this twice to mine over the years..

No dont think so.

Unscrew the nut holding wiper arm on.
Spray some WD40 around the circlip on spindle.
Operate rear window wipe and see if spindle turns. Spray with more WD40 if need be.
Upto you if you wanna strip in down further and clean/grease up after that.
At least this will show you if it IS the problem first..

Right after having to angle grind the old one off as it was seized completely . The wiring plug from the boot got damaged . Can anyone give me the part number for this ? Or has a spare one ?

most likely this is the wiring broken in the tailgate (where it goes into the roof) and nothing to do with the wiper motor or mechanism itself. If you also have non fucntioning boot safetly light or lights in the boot this would be a big indicatior this is the case. This kind of thing: https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1677972

Did this the other day. One step missing; replace the o-ring!

I think the right size is 10x1.2mm (12.4OD). At least it seemed to fit snugly on mine and the shaft is definitely 10mm.

We'll see how long it lasts. Must have been getting worse for years, as I can't remember it ever going as fast as it does now!
