Physically remove xdrive?

Hi yall
just picked up my first 10' e90 335xi w/ n54 engine, im thinking about tranny swap(zf8/dct), but seems like awd transfer case might cause clearance issue and strength issue under high power.
What im thinking is using xdelete to trick the computer, and remove transfer case and front diff etc. and for tranny programming, i guess i can ask for help from folks at xhp.
thanks for anyone to point out the problems or suggestions.

I know on manual cars, the mounting points are totally different. Transfer case has it's own mount. Not sure if auto trans xdrive has any mounts. Why not just xdelete and leave everything else in?

if it will prevent transfer case from blow up, i would love to use it, but what im afraid is even the transfer case clutch is not engaging, the gear inside it will still spin, if too much torque flowing in, it might cause damage.
