Walnut Blast Issue

I am looking for some advice or guidance on a recent blast.
So I was working on closed valves (I believe 5-6, closest to the firewall).
During 5, my vacuum failed and stopped sucking without any noticeable sound change to notice. The valve filled up entirely with walnut, what a mess.

I got a new vacuum and cleaned it up thoroughly.

However, I noticed 4, and 6 both had some walnut spilled on top of the valves - I had rags stuffed inside to block.
It appears walnut traveled up the valve shaft (there is a center hole as well, PVC?).
Cylinder 4 was open, so I need to blast out the walnut through the sparkplug with a vacuum on the value.
As for it going up, how bad is it?
I need some good vibes...

I’m not sure I get what your asking, if any shells when’s directly up the valve where it seats into the head it wouldn’t be able to go anywhere as the valve stem seals wouldn’t allow it. Bmw reccomend a walnut shells for a reason aslong as you didn’t leave massive amounts of walnut shells it’ll just burn off when you run the motor

Yeah I guess you're right, seems like the valve stem seals wouldn't allow it.
But it appears the pcv vent can, so my only concern as it looks like some walnut transferred through it, as I noticed the taped-off valves contain walnut inside.
See the images per my concern... the blue section connects to the black circle on the second image.

Any pieces left on, in or near the valves will get eaten by the motor the first start.
