haha... I thought this car might be lost on the E90 crowd...

Little does everyone here know that back in 1989 this car loaded went for $38k or so... Based on inflation rates that would put this baby close to M3 pricing at this point..

67/33 F/R power split on a mechanical AWD that can when the wheels start to over rotate (slip) can divert 90% power to the front or back...

A $1-$2k E30 will get you a rust bucket that may or may not pass inspection... no records, and bad paint/body...

An E30 M3 currently goes for $15k+ for a good example... $25k for a pristine example... Think about that for a second... $25k for one with say 50-70k on it... That's about the same price a CPO E90 will go for...

You can get an E36 M3 for $15k in great shape and an E46 M3 for under $25k...

This car is an iX... one of 2600 brought to the US and of which 5% were manuals...

But hey, its cool man.. $1-$2k... haha... that made me laugh...

Well then you go ahead and buy it for 5,000 - 6,500 with 215,000 miles, a broken odometer, and a complete respray. Yes e30s are great cars, a true classic, but this one is not worth the asking price, especially in these times, where cars have significantly dropped in price. Don't believe me? Then why is it still for sale with zero bids?

in 3 days it has 2000 hits and 61 watchers... I'm fairly certain (and hoping) it will go. I've had more buzz over this car for sale than my modded E36 and HIGHLY modded E46... I've never seen anything like it...

SOME cars have significantly dropped in price. There are still those with plenty of cash and looking to pick up a nice collector's car at a reasonable price.

The odometer is NOT broken. It is replaced.. Try reading... the TACH was broken and I replaced the cluster not noting the mileage (exactly) and thus it is TMU... Another reason for the LOW price of this car...

There is NOTHING wrong with a respray... There are E30 M3's that have been resprayed that are going for $15k+... A respray on a car 20 years old that has a cult following INCREASES the value... For your reference a 1988 325iS with 35k original garaged its whole life just sold for $12k I know the new owner... $6k for mine is INCREDIBLY reasonable by comparison...

Keep a watch on the auction... I'm pretty sure you'll eat your words...

But this is why I was hesitant to post on this forum and why I am glad I'll still have one E30 left... One that I'll be selling for $20k come spring when it is complete... What? A $20k E30?

Yup... E30 TOURING, M50 motor swap, Mtech II body kit, with full respray... Who would buy one of those??? Haha... Do some research on that one!

Bump for you, since I saw the link on bf.c!

Would be a good winter car for sure. My e90 handles the daily driving while the E30 sits in the garage, kind of opposite of what most people would do, but I got the xi for a reason, so might as well use it!

I did, thank you.. bf.c, e30tech, r3v, e46f, iX group in yahoo...

There are currently 2750+ views and 75 watchers... no bids though

75 watchers is crazy unless it is just a bunch of enthusiasts curious to see what I get for it and 5 are actually watching to bid!
