BMW of Pembroke Pines service experience

those guys tried to void my entire remaining warranty because my car is SLAMMED.

BMW NA is aware of every mod in the car. they told me to bring it there and they would handle it, but their SM decided otherwise.

i will be having some words with the service manager who would not upgrade my software (BAD sticky brakes) because he claimed it was caused by the suspension. these guys have NO idea what they are talking about, and i have set up a meeting with the GM tomorrow to get this retard removed.

so if you have the choice, stay away from pines. go to fort lauderdale. they are much much better.

(is pines on this forum? i hope they read this.)

i just find it ridiculous how they will avoid making money any way they can. its not like they don't get paid for warranty work.

they told me they would be happy to LOOK at the car, charging me a fee which i was not paying. why should i be stuck with a bill for some design fault?

im not sure but they don't always upgrade the software unless they're working on the engine. I remember my SA told me that they charge when u request a software update but they do it for free when (for example) they're changing the hpfp.

Otherwise i can understand them blaming suspension/brake problems on aftermarket suspension... why not?

Yea, Pines BMW service is a joke, they tried saying that my intake caused transmission leakage!!!

I go to Pines cause its right around the corner from house. I may have to rethink that as I plan on lowering my car in a little while.

so far no good. they still want to charge me a diagnostic fee, which is not happening. they also want me to replicate the problem, which is not happening. the problem is only on hills. and im down in south florida for the summer. so there are no hills.

i have sticky breaks but i can live past it... i mean it is only at low speeds/take-off.. doesnt bother me TOOOO much but i agree it is annoying sometimes...
