Jpsimon did an upgrade turbos and that car is a beast. His logs are very strong and just as responsive as smaller turbos.

It is only about 50 rwhp on that setup at most and the cost including installation is about $4500. That is very pricey for that little gain and there is no wastegate fix so it is just as likely to rattle as the stock. I think that is a tough sell there. A full turbo upgrade is the way to go if someone brings a kit to market.

Turbo Dynamics stage 2 upgrade has a delta of around 100 hp and also offers a wastegate upgrade. It's more expensive, though.

I'm not too much in favor of a single turbo as my objective is to retain as much as possible the responsiveness and lack of lag (!) of the N54 biturbo concept. I can't really see that with a big single - even if it makes more power. But that's just my subjective point of view.

Twin wastegates are there because they are using a divided manifold for the twin scroll turbo. 1 wastegate for 3 cylinders.

Was kinda hoping to see pics of an actual turbo kit

I hope they aren't planning on using that intake...

Another day, and some more progress regarding the mounting of the turbo and the flange of the exhaust manifold. Now comes the challenging part, fabricating a custom exhaust manifold. Luckily, the design has been finalized. This is really the most challenging part, as the stock design was a bit tricky

Cool! I'm glad someone is throwing down the cash to get this done rather than making it sound like it was some Hurculean engineering feat on the scale of attaining a sustained, controlled, energy positive fusion reaction.
