hey guys so I have a e92 335xi N55, it has a JB4 upgrade running map 5 a bmw performance exhaust and a CAI, other then that its all stock. I have a charge pipe that I have too install but haven't gotten around to yet. Anyways my problem being is when I start the car sometimes it will go into limp mode as soon as I step on the pedal and when I WOT it, it sends me the check engine light. This happens at random, sometimes it goes away when I clear the code sometimes it doesn't. Its unpredictable when it will happen, Anyways I was wondering if anyone else has had these problems.

The code it's 2C90

That's a tuner code. Try running it on map 1 and see if it throws the same code; map 5 may be too aggressive for your mods.

Isn't map 5 the auto tune one? I have sent it down into map 1 and it still gives me the same code sometimes. I have read that it was a tuner code so I just kept clearing it and going about my day but now it's more constant and it's getting very annoying when you think you got the power but you really don't lol

Yeah, apparently there were issues with the autotuning in the early iterations. If you have tried map 1 though then that rules the map out.

Hang in there, there are guys on here who know more about the N55's nuances than I do.
