I thought the porka you had was special, but that is different gravy.
Congrats and enjoy.

While at Goodwood this year the miltek guys had a GTR to showcase their new GTR system, might be worth giving them a call

My tax bill last year would have bought the car outright - kills me everytime but again its something you pay and then have to forget - my accountant makes me "emotional" everytime he calls me!!!

And god knows what the fuel bill will be for the Ring trip - again.... pay and forget, pay and forget!!!

Yep - have heard the full Miltek - sounds ok but nothing special. If i was going to put a full system on i would probably go with something a little more special sounding.

yes but its not at the same price point...suspect current 997 Turbo prices to retreat back to feb 09 levels soon.

interesting its going to go away from the GT1 based engine so it can have PDK option

I'd have a Gen 2 Turbo in a heartbeat but IF performance is all your bothered about, the 0-60 times and top speed are all but identical to the GT-R but your paying TWICE the price!! At least they are going with a flappy paddle option instead of the stupid steering wheel buttons.

Steve my 911 post was more tongue in cheek remark than serious alternative if it was only about 0-60 times there’s a few things that would beat the GT-R but as a complete package there’s nothing that comes close. I’ve just sold a Gen 2 C4S with PDK and although in many areas it was superior to the GT-R the list was £82K (Over £28K more than my GT-R)

Very, very nice car Steve, congrats.

I reckon you've got about 12 months with this one and a few subtle mods before you go negative £££....... lol

Jules.

It looks very menacing in that colour Steve and a real step up in performance from the E92, I`m sure you`ll have a blast at the `Ring. Wish I could`ve gone.

Have you looked into the running costs yet (I know the running in service was free), is it time or mileage based for service intervals ? I run the same brakes on my M3 and replacement front discs/pads are £1400 direct from Brembo, I dread to think what Nissan will charge with their cut and labour on top, £2Kish without the rears ?? I doubt you`ll run it long enough to get to that stage anyway.
