Brilliant - what a terrific demonstration of a 3 point turn, tho we might need to score down for stalling it

It sounds totally amazing... you will never tire from the growl of that engine. Photos are amazing also Matt

I didn't get to drive it, but from the passenger seat and the roadside it is truly awesome. Paul was understandably being a bit circumspect and hadn't hit the power button. In this configuration I'n not sure that it is all that much faster than the 335i, but it does it so differently. The noise is tremendous (volume and tone).... who needs a stereo when you have one of those! It is literally a head turner, kids and adults alike were stopping in their tracks for a look.

I only experienced it on a pretty flat well surfaced road, but would say that over speed bumps it's a bit harder than the MSport, even with the EDC on the softest setting.

The faux carbon leather looks the dogs danglies, and other than that it's pretty standard E92 fare, which is no bad thing.

It clearly has heaps of power as the traction control light can be seen out of just about every junction, even through mine never came on and I wasn't that much slower, so traction is clearly a limiting factor.

I could hear Paul over my engine even when I was at 4k rpm. The noise is unreal.

If only petrol, insurance, car tax and M3s were cheaper (and they did a Touring).

I love the M pornnography for sure. You just don't see many 1 coupes and Sparkling Graphite really suits the car. Looks like a 135i from the rear spoiler but there is a silver car in the way blocking the view.

Car looks fab mate enjoy yourself in your new machine and hopefully I will see it at Goodwood if it's not a garage queen.

The one coupe was in the way really, we did think about bumping it out of shot, but thought they might get grumpy.
