What to do for more power ?

What's up guys I have a 335xi with the n55 FBO with the jb4 and I love the power it's definitely really fast but I was wondering what's the next step for power without risking big damage to the engine and is relatively cheap for now. I know running ethanol obviously would help but I'm not even sure if I can run that safely on a stock fuel pump ? Can anyone verify this ? And any other suggestions for more power would be appreciated ! I run jb4 on map 2 right now.

You can run E40 on stock lpfp no problem and max out the stock turbo. It will probably gain you 20-30whp. You can also get a PS2 as above suggested and run an E30 custom tune and be safe with stock engine. There is no reason to upgrade the ekp module at this level. Only reason for that would be if you are running 2 lpfp or more than a single 450. You will need a stage 2 lpfp for the PS2 and E30.

the pure stage 2 upgrade is insane fun!

You have the rotary (N54) style HPFP though, he has the piston style pump. I ran E30 and started to have the HPFP crash at 17 psi on the piston style pump.

I would go with a methanol setup then. Yes the PS2 is a great option but at $2,500 it doesn't meet your cheap target. Methanol will get you similar gains as E30 without running into fuel system crashes. It will also keep your IATs low so you won't have timing corrections on longer pulls. You can always add just a little bit of ethanol for some more octane on top of the methanol too.
