Lpfp didn't prime. Half engine light after start up
A couple of times this week I have gone to start my car and noticed that the lpfp hasn't primed when I've unlocked the car.
It's started fine and driven fine. Except today. I started it and it sounded different and smelt very rich. The half engine light came on almost streight away. I've pulled the codes. 2ee0 combustion misfiring, several cylinders Fuel injection deactivation. 2eea combustion misfiring, cylinder 3 injection deactivation. 2ef4 combustion misfiring, cylinder 6 injection deactivation. Would this be a lpfp fault causing the misfires? As I would expect it to prime everytime I wake the car? But recently is only sometimes primes when I wake the car. It's a 2010 e92 n55 Plugs and coils are a few months old. So I don't think this is the issue. When I did the spark plugs no 3 did smell of fuel like a leaky injector. And I did change the plugs and coils whilst chasing a lumpy idle. Which I haven't fixed yet. Any help would be appreciated |

It has been very cold over the last couple of days and I've not used it since Sunday. So could be that. Will have to test it.
Also I cleared the codes and restarted it and it ran fine. But I've not driven it to see if drives ok. |

Define cold for a Canadian please, even when my battery used to be really weak during our -25 to -35 winters it always used to prime.

Just changed and coded the battery.
I checked the codes. 36fd engine ECU main relay Implausibly open. 2775 air mass. Plausibility Air mass too low. Seems to drive ok and no engine lights on yet. But only drove about 2 miles. |

If you know an injector is leaking why not fix that and see if your problems go away? I'd recommend replacing two injectors if you can stomach the extra $110 for the second injector, since they're installed in pairs and you're doing all the labor anyway. Not necessary, but I'd rather spend the extra $110 and know I never have to touch that pair again. |
