So you're tempted to do meal as well as drive then? The restaurant is great! we know the owner and manager and have been going there for years, so always get excellent treatment...and a discount! It's relatively unusual in Bradford, as many of the Asian restaurants are not licensed due to religious beliefs. The Cobra on draft is superb!

Can't say that the English dishes will be of a wonderfully high standard, as it's not their speciality. The Asian food is fantastic though! However, if there are others that don't like curry, there are plenty of other restaurants close by and we could all meet for drinks afterwards. Just a thought, as I know that Alan isn't a curry fan!

I know that Alan has been asking about hotels so I've tried to save you some groundwork.

This Holiday Inn Express is central, within walking distance of the restaurant and pubs and there is a decent carpark attached as part of the complex. Not the prettiest hotel to look at, but probably a good base.

Alternatively there is The Hilton, also pretty central, but will be more expensive.

The Great Victoria is also a nice hotel and a superb building, but will be more expensive than the Holiday Inn Express.

Cheers

Thanks Gav. Since you are organising, you pick one of them, preferably the easiest to get to with the best parking, and those who are staying on Saturday night can book in to the hotel.

For value, go with the Holiday Inn. £39 per room including breakfast. Large multi-story car park which is part of the Leisure Exchange.

I'm working off the original list, but calendar would be useful.

Come along Porscha! It will be a good day and evening! Stay over and have a curry!

Just got back from the restaurant (quiet meal out with Ali) and have spoken to the manager, who will make sure that we have a good evening

Got some friends who may be interested in coming along to this as passengers, but might not have enough spare seats to accomodate. All tenuous at the moment, but can anyone offer a seat on the drive just in case?!
