A stock n52 is plenty fun and reliable. It’s a n52 they are special in there own way but they are not n54s. I would keep it stock.

But you can’t go wrong either way.

the 3 stage intake manifold tune is a stock tune, you're getting the same power as on a 330i, bmw detuned the engine and installed crappier intake manifold to sell the same car at different price points

Yep, totally valid to not want to worry about the DISA valves.

I recently did the swap and I would say it is not as easy as many of the DIY's make it sound. It's a pain.

That said, the power gain is noticeable and I'm super stoked that I did it.
