Shoud I reduce my expectation ?

I'm shopping for an E92, must be BSM or JB, AT, iDrive, 22-23K$ MAX. I have been looking for 3 months, soon 4.

Now, I'm looking at E90's and I realised 328xi 2009 are pretty cheap and low milleage and also some has iDrive. Now i'm confused, my current car start to break into pieces and i'm getting old now i'm in an hurry, but I dont want to regret going for e90.

I always wanted a 2 doors car and E92 looks way more sporty than E90, totaly different car. While I like the front and back of E90, I think sides look plain and boring.

what are your though ?

Get a 335xi, sedan or coupe both look fine. The AWD and turbo will be happy in Canada.

Don't settle. Get what you want. It's cheaper in the end and you'll be happier longer.

I agree. Don't settle. Personally, I would never drive the 3 sedan. I really dont like how it looks and all I can think of is the "yuppie" era. To each his own.

Yea, E92s look awesome. E90s can too, but it needs to be modded. An E92 will look good even stock. 328 is a great 230 hp NA car, the 335 is a 300 hp FI car. Two different platforms, you can't go wrong with either.

I was originally in the market for an E90. I found a good deal on an E92 with the color combo and options that I wanted.

I can say that I have any regrets. In fact, I have come to love the styling and get tons of compliments.

E92 FTW.

I love the e92, but I've seen some SEXY e90s in my life.

If its e92 that you want, you should get that. It would suck if you found out later on that you're not happy with settling on an e90. I'm also a coupe guy but I must say, an e90 with mtech rear/front really makes the car look 100x better.

I had a 06 e90 and spent 6 years with regrets of not getting the e92. Now I have no regrets with the e92.

Don't settle, it took me almost 6 month to find my car, but at the end it was worth it! I love my sedan, but if its a coupe you want, get the coupe!

pretty much in the same boat as you, starting to look for an E92, white, red int, nav and must have M sport package. Its hard to find the exact model you want but eventually it will happen.

I need your opinion on this car :

E92 335i
Exterior : Dark blue (very close to JB)
Interior : Tan + Dark wood
iDrive
Park Distance Control
Confort Access
Sport Package

130,000 KM = 80778 MILES

20,000 $

81k miles on an N54/55 is getting to the $$$ range on maintenance/risk if not well cared for. Does the owner/dealer have maintenance records. The longevity of the turbos is still not clear so I would be weary unless you are budgeting preventative maintenance into your cost of ownership. What year is it? I hate the old iDrive, my mother in law has it in her n54 335 and it is super slow.

Dont settle man, get an e92. The last thing you want do is spend big money on something you didn't really want.

If you wanna talk about stock vs stock then the e92 will look nicer in my opinion. But as you are on these forums so its likely that you will start modding and either way you go, you cant go wrong! Both e90 and e92's can be modded to look beautiful.

Yes he does have the records, all maintenance done at dealership. I would like to spend max 750$ / year on maintenance. 2007, yes old iDrive, 2009 E92 are in a completly different price range here ... (30K$) but still IMO old iDrive still better than no iDrive at all.

My first always been the 328xi, but I have to be reasonable ... i will never buy if I don't settle on this, I'm now considering 328i and 335i / xi. But yea milleage is high .....

I think I will pass
