Logic 7 upgrade fail then revert issue with audio noise

I have a 2006 325i e90 without idrive. I have the hi-fi amp with the BMW professional CD head unit.
I upgraded all of my speakers to the logic 7 speakers. I finally got a logic 7 amplifier from a 750i model as I wanted to put more wattage to the subs and the rear dash.
Plugged in amp amd spliced in connector and no sound.
I have a foxwell scanner programmer and I tried to activate the most rings new settings and the top hi-fi amp, apparently successfully yet still no sound.
Frustrated, I removed the logic 7 amp and reconnected the original hi-fi amp.
My audio returned but now I have a high pitched wine when I listen to the radio stations but not when I listen to the aux input from my phone. It was not like that before.
It almost sounds like a ground loop but I'm not so sure because its not present when using the auxiliary input.

When listening to the radio stations, the volume highs are a lot louder than the lows and when listening to the auxiliary input its the opposite. Not sure if that's relevant or not but it wasnt like that before.
Im aware of the auxiliary having its own volume but the tones are reversed
In pretty good with audio systems but this most network and coding thing is new.

In wondering if I messed up the coding somehow, and if so, how do I revert the coding to the original way it was.

Any ideas or tips or new ideas are welcome. Thanks.

Maybe the Foxwell Scanner returned the Radio/Idrive to base stereo
and not Hi Fi.
I didn't thing that any Scanner was capable of recoding Head Units.
Base Stereo is no Hi Fi is not Logic 7 (Base system no option no, Hi Fi 676 ,Logic 7 option 677
or 688(688 on cars made after 2009)
I would only trust Bimmergeeks Pro Tool to do coding and it is for
people that don't want to bother learning coding .
You could default code if you knew the VO hadn't been changed by the Foxwell

Better to go aftermarket with a Hi Fi system .
Logic 7 isn't that great in comparison to a decent Aftermarket system
meaning amp and speakers.

Also you can use the Technic harnesses for all this stuff without cutting wires.

If you are coding use the Standard Tools Suite .
Bimmergeeks cable 45 bucks downloads free
see the coding subforum.
You can read and change the individual parameters with Standard Tools
Inpa , NCSexpert , Tool32 ,Winkfp

First, thanks for the reply.
And yes this scanner does some simple programming such as batteries and can activate or deactivate things.
I'm not advertising it but its made for BMWs. Ive got way more than my moneys worth out of it so far but I'm ready to graduate to a better coding device and platform. I will look into the bimmergeeks cable thing you mentioned.
In the meantime, I will reset all coding to the factory default in case you are correct about the scanner returning it to base stereo as it has a feature that will restore factory defaults. If that works i will let you know. Thanks again.

Wow, hours later and im still digesting all of the information and help you sent my way.
Thank you ctuna lieutenant general. I will be purchasing a cable and will begin learning the inpa and ista stuff. I bought this bmw broken and have repaired everything and its my daily driver. I work on it myself and do all of the repairs and maintenance myself and i believe this cable and programming software will better equip me to deal with any trouble i may have in the future.
As an update, i reset all of the software to factory settings and still that wine persists. I believe that its a ground loop or maybe some interference from how the wires are placed. I will figure it out eventually and post the fix. I never give up until i succeed. But thanks a million for all of the software, information, and links. Invaluable.

Yes there is. As mentioned above, the technics harnesses. However I didnt have that so I used the connector that came from a vehicle at a junkyard that had it which was in my case a 7 series BMW and then spliced all the wires into their correct spots. In my case all of the wires from both models had an identical color scheme so it was super easy to match them up. However my professional CD head unit wouldnt accept the logic 7 amp without recording the head unit. I hope your lucky and it accepts it though. Look up e90 audio wiring diagram and this forum has a really excellent breakdown of it by models and colors and systems and has pictures as well. Hope that helps some.

To be honest its way easier to just use aftermarket amplifiers as alot of people say. I personally use that same stock amplifier you have and an additional amp which is a Rockford fosgate 5 channel amp. I also have logic 7 speakers and some extra aftermarket speakers as well although everything still looks stock.
