Finally got around to catless Dp's with pics and vids!
Got under the car with some buddies and finally got the catless dp's into the car this weekend. I have the BMS downpipes, quality seemed pretty good when I took a first look at them. I took them to have them coated before the install since even without the cats I fail to believe losing the double wall design of the stockers wont add more heat to the engine bay.
Pics as follows... New Catless Downpipes from BMS. BMS pipe after being ceramic coated next to OE pipe during install Yay for tiny snails!!! Side note... This is what your cabin air filter looks like after a couple months when you don't have the weatherstrip on the engine cowl to seal it from the engine bay. (BMW tech did not put it back on last time he was in the car) And Finally a sound clip of the car with Catless DP's installed. If the video doesn't start at the right point, skip ahead to 20 seconds in. [u2b]http://youtu.be/DNeJQizn7F8[/u2b] EDIT: WTF is with youtube linking be retarded? Here is the link http://youtu.be/DNeJQizn7F8?t=20s

Install went pretty smooth, the O2 sensor bungs on the BMS pipes could be better located I will say that, we had to leave the 02 harness wiring out of the stock harness up top to have enough length to get to the pipes.

FMIC and new wheels, but the wheels are still up in the air. Looking at 360 forged, f-14's, or bbs ch all in gunmetal. Shooting for 18x8.5 front and 18x10 rear with 285/35/18 nitto nt550r2's on the back wheels

Oh and I forgot I put the G5 ISO on when I did the Dp's, so I may go with the BMS back end flash for the airstrip day as well so I can run 50/50 e with the inline pump.

looks like we'll have close to the same car by that time. I'm doing BMS DPs and a Helix FMIC next week with the Alpina transmission flash. Sometime before the event I plan to do the BMS flash and LPFP upgrade and see how much E85 I can push.

How are you doing the Alpina TCU flash? I am DYING to do that but do not have the coding experience to do it myself.

Not exactly an experienced coder but I'm confident I can get it done with the info posted online. I don't have any trips to chicago planned but would be glad to help once I get it if your car is compatible.

Damnit. U may be able to pull on me. I need some nittos and I'm running same tune full bolt on with e85 but I can't run the new trans flash cuz car is out of the month/year possibility to do so. Soooo mad. I might have to do something drastic.

I am happy to see you started running e85! Your car should be a beast on it. I was amazed how much it does when I was able to hang last summer with the tune and e85 vs you at FBO. E85 is the way to go!

On the north side. Hoping the cable comes around the middle of the week. I'll borrow a friends if I don't have it by the end of the week - FMIC and DPs going in Friday so I need it bad!
