I had a hard time to fit ETON B100N into front door of e92... as they are not intended for that :-) https://www.eton-gmbh.com/fileadmin/...st_bmw_web.pdf
...however it is doable... I had to modify/cut the original speakers seatings, than used a plastic ring to press/attach Etons in place as the mounting points would raise them too high... well, in the end it is possible with a bare clearance with the window mechanism... They sound very clean even on the radio itself (Professional radio, no amp), I will hook up the Match DSP later on.

Has anyone heard anything about this setup? I've had two sets of DLS speakers and love them, but this option looks kinda questionable/interesting.

I'm curious about this, as well. DLS is definitely a reputable company, so just curious as to what their thinking was with this project and how it turned out.

This is a great thread! While I don’t have an E90, I have been researching what I can install in my G05 X5 with the HK system. I would
Love a straight drop-in system that will work with my HK amplifier, but I am torn on what is actually available... I have been looking at BavSound and Focal IFBMW-S for now... but I have also found some Focal K2 speakers for LESS $$ than the IFBMW system (but I fear it won’t sound good with the stock amplifier). *i plan on installing a 10” JL W3 sub and amp in the boot for deeper bass |

The systems are pretty close or even the same between different
chassis/model numbers. They don't design a different system for each chassis/model variant. It's unfortunate but it seems like a lot of auto manufactures are going to small speakers now where 5.25 use to be the standard size. They some how think that map holder space is more important. |

So I have decided to go with the Etons in my G05 and I ordered the B100W2's and center channel speaker to start with. Let's see how well they do with the stock HK amp...

i want to ask how much ohm is a rear L7 speakers ?
I'm sure they are 4 ohm but this is correct ? I just have a problem with the incorporation of some individual speakers that are not for my car or more precisely not for E92 rear side panel |

In the PDF Ctuna linked, it clearly lists the impedance as 2 ohm (behind the wattage).
